Their debut release, Introducing The Style Council was released in June 1983. Though not officially released in the United Kingdom, the Dutch release was heavily imported into the UK . Introducing The Style Council includes tracks from the band's first three UK single releases, as well as the club mix version of "Long Hot Summer". The band's official, full-length studio album, Café Bleu, was released the following year. The album charted in several countries including Australia, reaching No_29, Canada , Reaching No_44 , Japan, Reaching No_69, New Zealand, Reaching No_6 and the USA, Reaching No_172
